Error 9100 on Canon Pixma Pro9000 and Pro9500

Orange led (Alarm LED) and green led (Power LED) blink 10 times and you have an error code 9100, 9200 or 9201.

This is a carriage board error.

Solution 1:

Power off the printer
Unplug the power cord.
Wait for an hour
Plug in the power cord.
Switch on the printer

Solution 2: a part is defective; you have to replace:

Carriage unit (QM2-2967)
Logic board ass'y (QM2-3180)
