How to solve error code 55.1 on HP Laser printers

Error code 55.1 is a DC controller error. The device has experienced an internal hardware error.


Solution 1:

• Turn off the power by using the power switch.
• Wait one minute
• Turn on the power and wait for the device to initialize. 

Solution 2:

• If a surge protector is being used, remove it. 
• Plug the printer directly into the wall socket. 
• Turn on the device. 

Solution 3:

• If the problem persist, contact the support.
